Backpack Challenge

As we near the end of another great summer, it is time to prepare our students for the upcoming school year. ICYO is excited to have been chosen as a recipient of the 2010 Backpack Challenge, sponsored by Time Warner Cable, Q102, and Fox 19. As a recipient, many of the inner city children supported by ICYO will be outfitted with high quality backpacks and essential school supplies that will give them a good start to the new school year. The goal of Time Warner Cable’s annual Backpack Challenge is to collect 1,500 backpacks loaded with school supplies that will be donated to various local non-profit organizations dedicated to helping children in need. ICYO would like to thank Time Warner Cable, Q102, Fox 19 and the generous members of the community for their continued support.
