The mission of Inner City Youth Opportunities
is to teach practical life skills to develop responsible, educated and caring youth.
ICYO
is a 501(c)3 organization. Your generous support is helping change lives and giving hope to those in need. Thank you!
Inner City Youth Opportunities provides a safe and structured environment for inner city children (grades K-4) of low-income families after school and during the summer. Since 1993, thousands of children have benefited from the summer tennis camps, afterschool homework assistance and academic tutoring and field trips provided by ICYO and many community sponsorships. The grant from the Charles H. Dater Foundation will continue to support these programs so that many life skills may be taught through the sport of tennis; the children’s academic skills will be improved in all basic areas of reading, writing, math and computer and the children will continue to see a world beyond their neighborhoods through ICYO field trips, summer week long YMCA camp and community events.
"I can’t begin to thank you for the wonderful Christmas you provided for Kailah and my family. This year we were able to do much for our girls and you stepped in right on time. Thank you for the gift of giving-not just Christmas, but you and your team have been a blessing to my family the entire year. Again, thank you and may God continue to bless you for He certainly blessed me by sending you to us."
